I’m currently very new to starting my journey with Jesus Christ. I have always been a Christian, but I hadn’t sought God on a personal level until now.

I often run to God when things are going bad in my life, and go back to my old ways as soon as He fixes them for me. This time was different. I still have fear and shame that I will go back to my old ways, but when I lost my job recently, I think something shifted in me.

I realised I can’t keep on going on in life without God. It almost feels as if I have nothing to look forward to, and I don’t feel love in the ways I crave, which I know He can give me - if I just commit.

God blessed me with a new job at the PERFECT time, which I am so, so grateful for. Although I’ve always struggled with believing or knowing when and if things are sent to me from God (I find it hard to be excited and happy about things, out of fear they will go wrong or be taken away), this is my testimony.

I know it’s the first of many on my lifelong journey! Thank you, Jesus, for everything. All that I see and everything I don’t see.
