You don’t understand why things happen when you’re in the middle of the storm. You only understand it when God finally shows you the bigger picture.

I came to Canada in May 2023 with a 1-year course and a 1-year stay back. Everyone said it was a wrong decision — too risky, not enough time, not the trend. But deep inside, I felt Jesus whisper, “Yes, you can do it with this 1-year stay back.”

I held on to that voice with confidence, even when the world doubted me. Isaiah 60:22: “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” I completed my studies, worked odd part-time jobs, hustled through seasons, and celebrated my graduation.

Then came the next stage — and a new challenge. I needed a NOC(National Occupational Classification) job, so my spouse could get his work permit extension. I wasn’t ready for an airline job, but I joined only because it gave me the NOC code.

God turned even that into a blessing — we worked together, laughed together, and built memories. I finished my one year; he finished two. Time was ticking. We started preparing for PR(permanent residency), and suddenly my age became the biggest barrier.

I attempted English exams again and again but never got the score I needed. Months passed in prayer, patience, and confusion. I started regretting my decisions… but the faithful Lord never let me down. He was preparing something ahead that I couldn’t see.

Habakkuk 2:3: “Though it lingers, wait for it; it will surely come.” We kept trying. We stayed optimistic. But there were days when everything felt shattered. Then came the hardest moment — we went out of status. The only option was to leave Canada.

My heart broke. I grabbed my rosary, knelt down, and cried out to my father. I prayed for a way out, for mercy, for direction. I started blindly believing in Him, trusting Him more than ever. In my darkest moments, Mother Mary held my hand and strengthened my heart — it felt like she had already carried my plea to her Son.

During this time, our parents and friends became our backbone. They prayed for us every single day. They gave us hope when we had none. They motivated us when we were mentally exhausted. They supported us financially when we were struggling.

Their love carried us through nights we couldn’t carry ourselves. Every call, every prayer, every word of encouragement felt like God speaking through them. We worked hard for our scores. And one fine day, when I was the least prepared, I cracked the exam — more than what I needed.

A ray of light appeared. We reached 507. My husband pushed himself and earned 2 more points for us — we reached 509. We prayed every single day, not knowing if the draw would ever come down.

My husband’s rejection came. We were shattered. But I didn’t give up — because Jesus had told me He would finish what He started. Mark 11:24: “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it.”

Then came January 21, 2026 — the day everything made sense. The draw dropped to 509. We were in the tie-breaking rule. I was happy and scared at the same time. With shaking hands, I opened my PR profile… And we were saved by ONE day.

I cannot explain the joy. We hugged, cried, and thanked God. We felt the prayers of our parents, the support of our friends, and a divine intervention in every detail. From the day I stepped into this land, I knew He had a plan for me. We submitted our documents and entered the next season — waiting.

We were jobless, anxious, and unsure. Six long months passed. But again, I held my rosary tight. It gave me strength I cannot describe. And then, when we least expected it… Our PR approval arrived. I opened the email with a heart full of gratitude.

We cried, celebrated, and thanked God for every prayer offered for us. Three years of hoping, crying, waiting, and believing — and God gave me the miracle I asked for. I saw the bigger picture. I thanked God for teaching me patience, perseverance, compassion, thankfulness, and the power of prayer.

Here I am now, writing this testimony to glorify God and show the world that nothing is impossible for Him. Speak your desires with a pure heart, for His glory — and He will make a way.

My miracle arrived. My testimony is alive. If you’re waiting, hold on. Jesus is faithful.
