I was 7 years old when I got a bad fever. My parents took me to the hospital, and the doctor said it was a normal fever but in the evening, it got worse. They again took me to the hospital, and the doctor suggested that they go to another town's hospital.
When we got there, the doctor said I had a low chance of survival. My father requested the pastor to pray for me, and this was when a miracle happened. My life was spared. The doctor says it would be hard for me to walk because of a problem with my right foot, but I pray and I can walk on both feet.
After many years, I slowly got away from Jesus, and I made many mistakes. At twenty, I was lonely and alone, so I got a dog. One morning, my mom was taking her for a walk when the collar came off her neck. She ran a few steps when a van stopped in front of her, and she was frightened by it and ran into the main road.
My mom came home crying and told me, and we went to look for her. It’s been many years since she ran away, and I am still praying from the heart. When I’m having a hard time and I can't pray sincerely, I’ve felt like, Why pray at all? Why ask him for anything? But turns out I was wrong.
I thought that I’d only ask him for anything that one time, but after a year, I had pain in my stomach and another part of my body. I hate hospitals and pain, and after seeing a sonogram, the clinic suggested that I may have a big problem.
I refused to go to the hospital and started to pray slowly, and slowly I realized the Lord forgave us. That's why He gave His only Son, who took our sins on the cross. Now I am trying to follow the way that He wants.
