McKenna Watts

Hi, I'm McKenna, and this is my testimony. I grew up in Slovenia but was born in the U.S. My parents were missionaries to Slovenia. My first friend and best friend was from Slovenia.

Later, our church stopped supporting us, and we had to back down from the mission field. Years later, I was around 11 years old, and I heard the guest pastor talking at our church. I realized I had never accepted Jesus as my Savior. I had grown up in a Christian home, but wasn't already a Christian? It was hard for me to comprehend.

So one Sunday night, at Awana (it’s a Bible club), I accepted Jesus as my Savior. The moment I did so, I felt a hug. The invisible kind, that only God can give you.

Later on, I thought more about God, and with that, I thought more about the most special person (aside from my family and God) in my life. My Nana. She had died a few years earlier, but now, I really felt the pain.

I kept asking God why He took her away from me. My Nana's husband (grandpa) remarried and paid less attention to me. He used to be like a second father to me. Throughout my life, I have seen God work in numerous ways, and I have witnessed it with my uncle and my friends.

God has given me miracles and worked in my life. Thank you, Jesus!
