Hello everyone, I have a testimony to share. So I suffer from depression, and I got closer to the Lord over the past year.

As one does, I would talk to the Lord daily about things in my life or even if I should or shouldn't do something, but through my head and not my heart, but when I would talk to him, there was always a response answering my questions. Sometimes it would say things like, "don't do that," etc.

I would follow the orders of this voice that kept talking to me, until one day. I was on TikTok, and this video popped up. It said, "Good, life-changing events will happen to you this week." Obviously, I just assumed it was trying to get likes and views by saying false stuff.

So that evening, I spoke to the voice, and I was talking about my day. All of a sudden, the voice I was constantly listening to blasphemed the Lord's name. I was in shock, because how could the voice I've been talking to say something like that?

And then it clicked. I wasn't talking to the Lord. I was talking to the devil. So then I started thinking, the video said good, life-changing events. How is this possibly a good event?

Well, then I realized that the Lord had saved me from the devil’s deception. And I learnt that to speak to the Lord, he looks at your heart, so speak to him from there. Because he looks to see if your heart is pure, because the Lord admires people who believe with all their hearts.

I've learnt that to seek him, you have to seek him with your whole heart. Because in Psalm 91 it states, "He will save those who love him and protect those who acknowledge him as Lord." Anyway, thank you for reading my testimony! :)
