I used to watch things I shouldn't have been watching on the internet. My parents had a bad relationship with each other, and I was a sad-faced teen contemplating life questions, such as, Is there an afterlife? But during this time, Jesus came knocking on my door, and I answered.

I had heard the gospel through the internet, and this time, instead of ignoring Jesus as I had done in the past, I admitted that I was a sinner and that I wanted to be saved. I believed and trusted him as my Lord and savior.

After that, the Holy Ghost came inside of my heart and started changing me from the inside out. He started to guilt me about the things I was watching, and he made me thirst and seek after the good things of God. He influenced me to seek after the things that God likes instead of what I had previously liked.

He made me interested in God, in seeking him through prayer and in his word, in congregating with the church and seeking after spiritual food, a.k.a the word of God. I thank God that he has saved me and for the opportunity and honor it is to be called a son of the living God and to be able to call Him Father.
